12. Jack Black Appears In A Small Cameo

Jack Black sure as hell showed up in a lot of random movies throughout the mid-90s, but perhaps none more unexpectedly than Waterworld.

A virtually unrecognisable Black makes a small cameo as "Smoker Plane Pilot," the man piloting the plane which fires upon the Mariner, Helen, and Enola.

In the famous Ulysses Cut of the movie - which we'll get to later - Black actually shows up for an extra scene (pictured above) where he ditches the goggles, we can see his face, and he even gets to speak a few lines.

Ultimately the part didn't do much for his career, though a few years later he began to crop up in more respectable Hollywood movies and slowly began to make a name for himself.
