1. Michael Jackson Was Almost A Vampire Pimp In Blade 2
The King Of Pop, Michael Jackson seemingly had quite the thing for comic book movies. A few years ago, Stan Lee revealed the singer's intentions to produce and/or star in his own Spider-Man movie back in the '90s. At one point Jackson had his heart set on playing the wheelchair-bound telepath and founder of the X-Men, Professor X in Bryan Singers X-Men. He also lobbied hard to play The Riddler in Joel Schumacher's Batman Forever. And let's not forget his brief cameo in Men In Black II, where he played himself trying to become an operative for the MIB. His oddest would-be contribution to the comic book movie genre would have to be his scrapped role in Guillermo del Toro's Blade 2. In the film Jackson was originally going to have a cameo in the House Of Pain sequence as a "Vampire Pimp" that another vampire encounters as she searches an upstairs hallway. Jackson had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts and the part was played by a Czech actor. The sequence was ultimately cut out entirely for pacing reasons. And that's the story of the failed Thriller sequel. What other interesting action movie facts are you aware of that youd like to add to the list? Let us know in the comment section below.
