Considering Joss Whedon announced principal photography had concluded last August, the Sony/Marvel deal wasnt official until February, and there has been no mention of any actor signing on as Spider-Man, fans still cant help but dream Peter Parker will swing back into our screens. Its a nice thought, but even the most optimistic of fans will have to accept that Spider-Man will not be making an appearance and it will be a huge surprise if theres even an easter egg or passing mention of him. It looks like fans will have to wait until Captain America: Civil War before they get to see the webslinger in the Marvel Universe. In short, don't get your hopes up and you won't be disappointed.
