15. Dewey Basically Guesses Everything
In the first act, Dewey (David Arquette) pays a visit to Sidney at college to check that she's safe and well, and brings to her attention the possibility of a copycat following in Billy (Skeet Ulrich) and Stu's (Matthew Lillard) footsteps.

Dewey briefly speculates on the identity of the killer(s) and basically ends up guessing the whole thing.
He says, "Sid, if there is some
freaked-out psycho trying to follow in Billy Loomis's footsteps,
you probably already know him. Or her, or them. They're probably
already in your life."
No lies detected there, Dewey. Beneath his goofball exterior lies a keen, sharpened investigative mind.
