13. Wes Craven Plays Woodsboro High's Janitor, Fred

This is a two-pronged Easter egg, one half of which you probably noticed, but the other perhaps not.

Mid-way through the movie, we catch a brief glimpse of Woodsboro High School's janitor, Fred, shortly before Principal Himbry is killed.

Notably, he happens to be wearing a striped red-green jumper similar to that of Freddy Krueger in the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise.

A cute gag, right? But it gets better, because Fred is in fact played by none other than Craven himself, wearing a hat, fake mustache, and long, grey wig to disguise his appearance.

Even if you know what Craven looked like, this one's easily missed given the mere second he spends on-screen.
