20 Things You Somehow Missed In Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith
7. C-3PO's Frustrating Armour
Keeping with the world of computer generated imagery for this next entry, and to an on-screen presence you probably didn't realise caused more headaches than just about any other use of CGI and digital tinkering in the entire Prequel saga.
Despite not exactly stealing the show in his few fleeting appearances in the trilogy-closer, Anthony Daniels' C-3PO actually played host to one of the most unexpected dilemmas the crew behind Revenge of the Sith had to overcome; that being the fact his unmistakable golden armour just so happened to reflect a set stuffed with vibrant green and blue screens.
With this in mind, the VFX squad behind Episode III were forced to repaint all of Threepio's armour in post manually whenever he arrived on the scene to comfort Padmé Amidala. This means every time you spot Daniels neurotically jarring around a scene within the flick, you're actually taking in some of the most subtle and soul-crushing CGI ever pumped into the galaxy.
