16. Chaos Walking (Tom Holland & Mads Mikkelsen)

The protagonists of two of the most bankable movie franchises today are teaming up: Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and Star Wars' Rey (Daisy Ridley) will star in this adaptation of Patrick Ness' young-adult sci-fi novel The Knife of Never Letting Go.
Despite rumblings of a rocky production, a script worked on by six (!) screenwriters and daring to release just a week before Captain Marvel, Chaos Walking should at least benefit from the relatively reliable Doug Liman in the director's chair.
The plot revolves around a future where people are raised to believe that women are extinct and all living things can perceive each other's thoughts.
And if that's not insane enough, Mads Mikkelsen will hopefully add another bonkers villain to his repertoire, as he plays the cruel mentor to Holland's character.
This one really could go either way, but it sure will be a sight to see, good or bad.
