5. The Adam Project

Free Guy director Shawn Levy reunites with Ryan Reynolds for new sci-fi film The Adam Project, starring Reynolds as Adam, a man who travels back in time to get help from his younger self (Walker Scobell) in confronting their late father (Mark Ruffalo).

It's certainly an enticingly nutty concept, with a supporting cast including Jennifer Garner, Zoe Saldana, and Catherine Keener.

Though the presence of four credited screenwriters is always a little bit concerning, it's not enough to derail interest in what could be one of year's most playfully inventive sci-fi adventures.

If nothing else, it'll be neat to see Reynolds and Ruffalo sharing the screen and riffing off one another.

The Adam Project releases on March 11.
