Ving Rhames is something of a curiosity in this franchise, because while he's appeared in ever single entry in one form or another, his screen time has been pretty damn scant throughout. Rogue Nation again feels like he's only there out of some misplaced sense of obligation (or more likely, a paycheck), appearing for just a few minutes here and there and basically getting little to do beyond tell off Agent Brandt ever now and then and stick up for Hunt when the time calls for it.
