One of the more hilarious and infuriating aspects of Rogue Nation is the constantly-switching allegiance of femme fatale Ilsa Faust: first she's a Syndicate torturer, then she helps Hunt escape, then she's an apparent assassin in Vienna, then she leads Hunt to Lane's digital drop box, but then she steals the contents for herself, but then she's being pressured by the UK government to screw over Hunt, but then she makes nice with him and helps save the day. Granted, it was never really in doubt that Ilsa was going to land on the good side, but that only makes the will-she-won't-she flip-flopping seem all the more silly and predictable. After the third or fourth time she does it, it's just a bit groan-inducing.
