9. Fin Fang Foom Cameo - Iron Man

During the first Iron Man movie as the titular superhero races through the streets, the legendary extraterrestrial dragon known as Fin Fang Foom makes a sorta-cameo, appearing on a billboard in the top-left corner of the screen.

This is extra amusing as the image of the iconic villain was taken from Iron Man: Viva Las Vegas, a comic written by director Jon Favreau specifically to tie into the movie.

Though to many this seemed to foreshadow Fin Fang Foom's arrival in the MCU, especially once a giant, flying mechanical alien creature showed up in the trailers for The Avengers, to date the character still remains physically absent from the franchise (and probably always will).
