Shane Rimmer, a Canadian actor who lived and worked in the UK (and was known as the 'Rent-A-Yank' of the British film industry), played three different characters in three different Bond films, but was only credited for one of these appearances.

He played a Hawaii radio operator in You Only Live Twice, the chief of security at W Industries in Diamonds are Forever and, in the one role which he was credited for, he played Commander Carter - a US naval officer who helps Bond stop Karl Stromberg from starting a nuclear war - in The Spy Who Loved Me.
