Comedy actor Jay Baruchel signed on to star in and executive produce the adaptation of short storyThe Ten OClock People back in 2014, with Fright Night and Child's Play's Tom Holland directing. For horror fans, that should spell good news. The story of a smoker who combines a cessation drug with his habit and triggers psychedelic side effects, turing people in authority into monsters is a strange little gem, but it's an intriguing source for a film nonetheless. Prospects: With Holland's horror sensibilities this could well be a genuine creeper hit, and Baruchel has proved he can do slightly off-kilter - even creepy - performances before.
