7. Voldemort's Meeting At Malfoy Manor - Deathly Hallows Part I
It doesn't take Deathly Hallows very long to impress upon the audience that Voldemort means business. He has a sort of board meeting in Malfoy Manor at the beginning of the film with all of the minions reporting on how they've been getting on with all their evil deeds, and it's all pretty casual and low key...that is, until the viewers notice that there's a human body floating grotesquely above the table. It's Professor Charity Burbage, the woman who taught Muggle Studies at Hogwarts before the school was taken over by Death Eaters. She pleads with Snape to help her, and he looks thoroughly shaken: after all, this is a woman he knew very well, someone who likely considered him a friend. But double agents aren't exactly known for their friendships, and Snape can't do anything to help her before she is eaten by Nagani, Voldemort's pet snake.
