23. The Gryffindor Boys Playing With Magic Candy - Prisoner Of Azkaban
So much of the films are spent seeing the characters solely as wizards and witches, off casting spells and saving the world and things like that, but people forget that at the end of the day, they're still children. So it's nice when the film takes a moment out of its busy schedule to show them doing the sort of things that regular kids do. Prisoner of Azkaban was the first movie that started to blur the lines between the wizarding and the Muggle world, with all of the main characters seen much more frequently out of their uniforms. And it also has this little gem of a scene, where the Gryffindor boys are spending time in their dorm room, playing with candy that makes them mimic the sounds of different types of animals. It's a fun little scene that creates more layers and makes Hogwarts feel like a real place with real kids living in it.
