Director James Wan quite likes to insert his puppet into all of his movies in the none creepy/sexy way. Also known as Billy, he€™s the little tricycling marionette from the Saw movies that relays messages of impending doom like an evil carrier pigeon and then pops up unhelpfully in your nightmares two weeks later when you're alone in the house and there's a storm. Wan fans will have spotted him lurking in Dead Silence and Death Sentence, but his sneakiest cameo was in Insidious.

Featured on a blackboard behind Patrick Wilson€™s character after he finishes teaching a class, Billy€™s visage is unmistakable. Why is he there, we may never know. The digit beneath the chalk drawing of an 8 has sparked many a rumour of an eighth Saw movie, leading many to believe Wan was leaving a major hint regarding the future of his torturous franchise.
