From the first time we meet Dumbledore, he's like the sun: slightly distant, but comforting in its constant presence. He almost doesn't seem like the kind of person capable of dying. But of course, everything dies, even Albus Dumbledore. And when it happens, i's hard to see such a strong, powerful wizard reduced to a broken body lying at the bottom of a tower. The really devastatingly sad part about Dumbledore's death is his funeral. Everyone is just numb and in utter shock at the loss of a man that they all assumed would be around forever. Even though we don't see much of the funeral in the film, just watching all the characters raise their wands in tribute to their fallen leader is enough to make the most hardened Harry Potter fan crumble.
