Dennis Wise (Chad L. Coleman), introduced in the third season, is one of the shows most popular characters. A convict who did time for his part in the Baltimore drug trade, he emerges from prison desperate to help Baltimores street kids avoid his own fate and sets up boxing lessons for them. His handle, Cutty, is derived from his time spent in Maryland State Penitentiary nicknamed The Cut.
