Predicted Critical Consensus: "A return to form for Pixar, Inside Out is another heartfelt outing from the studio that never forgets to be funny nor boast a sense of adventure." And finally, the movie which just might end up as the best-reviewed film of the summer if not the whole year: it's Pixar's Inside Out. Though much of the plot is still kept under wraps, this story of a young girl moving to a new city and having to deal with her emotions certainly has the potential to be another richly emotional effort from the studio, whose last three movies, Cars 2 (39%), Brave (78%) and Monsters University (78%), have ranged from poor to decent, though each has been far away from their best works. With a splendid voice cast and some of Pixar's most reliable talent behind the scenes, this could be their first movie to score upwards of 90% since 2010's Toy Story 3 (99%), and hopefully kick-start another golden run for the studio. Worst case scenario, it would be a major shock if Inside Out scored lower than 70-75%. What are your critical predictions for the summer's biggest movies? Shout it out in the comments!
