25 Predictions For This Summer's Rotten Tomatoes Scores

23. Furious 7 (76%)

Predicted Critical Consensus: "A bittersweet treat for Fast and Furious fans, Furious 7 is an emotive farewell to Paul Walker and continues the franchise's successful trend of wacky, cartoonish vehicular mayhem." The Fast and Furious franchise has enjoyed something of a creative renaissance in its last two entries, which reinvented the series with a focus on heist yarns rather than petrol-head culture. This resulted in Fast Five and Fast and Furious 6 scoring both the best reviews (in fact, they're the only fresh movies of the whole series) and strongest box office of the lot. Furious 7 faces a major challenge following the death of Paul Walker mid-production, and though this could've resulted in a messy final product, early reviews out of SXSW suggest that director James Wan has given the actor a potent send-off, while the action is some of the best in the series. After 12 reviews, it currently sits at 83%, and though this will probably waver a little before release, expect it to hold pretty strong alongside the two previous films (77% and 68%).
