Known for roles in The Empire Strikes Back, Superman, Superman II, and Flash Gordon, John Hollis had over 50 film and television credits to his name, but to Star Wars fans he was Lobot, the administrative aide to Lando Calrissian in Cloud City, otherwise known as the guy with the fancy-looking electronic earmuffs on his head. Hollis also had a role in the Bond film For Your Eyes Only, in a pre-credit sequence playing what is assumed to be Ernst Stavro Blofeld (the character is never actually referred to by name directly). He passed away in 2005 in London, England.
