25 Worst Christmas Movies Of All Time
25. Fred Claus (2007)
The fact this movie exists is itself incredibly baffling. A $100 million holiday movie starring the heavyweight cast of Vince Vaughn, Paul Giamatti, Rachel Weisz, Kevin Spacey, Kathy Bates and Elizabeth Banks, Fred Claus summarily wastes all its talent amid a sappy narrative that can't make good on its admittedly not-terrible premise.

Ultimately the concept of Santa (Giamatti) having a douchebag brother (Vaughn) is wasted because Vaughn is actively annoying in the role, and there are way too many silly sight gags in order to appeal to a young audience.
With a lower budget and an R-rating, this could've been really interesting, but instead its only saving grace is that Giamatti makes for a pretty decent Santa.
