Maggie Smith is swapping her robes for rags as she tells the true story of The Lady In The Van who lived in her broken down vehicle on playwright Alan Bennett's driveway. The film shows the strained relationship that Bennett had with this rather eccentric homeless woman, which was also turned into a beloved play. Expect a hugely dependable performance from Smith, who never seems to disappoint.
