If Daniel Craig's films have attempted to pry more into Bond's personal life, Spectre goes one step further after Skyfall's massive revelations by actually showing the spy's London abode, a sizable flat which is stocked with the bare minimum: a sofa, TV and a bunch of books. Moneypenny drops by early on in the film and presumes he's just moved in, but of course, that's just Bond: the apartment is an easy way to make comment about the nature of his character, removed from the work-life balance and fulfilling home life that most of us enjoy (at least compared to Bond, right?)
