In Abel Ferrara's Fear City, a psycho killer is stalking and randomly killing strippers throughout New York City. Loretta (Melanie Griffith) is a popular Manhattan dancer engaging in an on/off relationship with her boss (Tom Berenger). Both begin to feel more than a little uneasy when news of the serial killer starts to spread. The most memorable moment of the film comes when Loretta proves why she is her clubs main attraction when she shimmies her way out of a blue skin-tight sequin dress within the films first five minutes.
