Who's Involved: Greg Tiernan (director of numerous Thomas the Tank Engine films) and Conrad Vernon (Shrek 2, Monsters and Aliens) are directing, while the ridiculously good cast includes Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, James Franco, Kristen Wiig, Edward Norton, Michael Cera, David Krumholtz, Nick Kroll, Salma Hayek, Anders Holm, Bill Hader, Craig Robinson, Paul Rudd and Danny McBride. The screenplay is being written by Rogen and frequent writing partner Evan Goldberg alongside the relatively inexperienced Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir. What's It About: A group of foods who want to be bought, but get lost and need to return to their supermarket aisles before the Fourth of July. Why We Should Care: Because Seth Rogen and co. making an animated film has so much demented potential. When's It Due: June 3, 2016.
