An indie festival darling that it sounds like you really need to go out of your way to see. It's about people - played by a mix of newcomers and established names like Willem Dafoe and Caleb Landry Jones - and early buzz has it on 96% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Hype:

After playing in the side bar at Cannes, The Florida Project is among the most hyped festival films of the year and while putting too much stock in RT scores is a fool's choice, the ones on there are from reputable Cannes-attending types who should know what they're talking about.

Sadly, it's only getting out on limited release (because it doesn't have explosions or The Rock in it), but it definitely looks worth catching where you can.
