15. The Devil All The Time

Though not technically a horror film by any conventional metric, The Devil All the Time is absolutely one of the most disturbing and unnerving films of 2020 so far.

An almost unbearably downcast adaptation of Donald Ray Pollock's novel, the film follows a large ensemble of characters, all of whom inevitably revolve around Arvin Russell (Tom Holland), a young man attempting to ward off evil forces closing in on his family.

Holland leads a spectacular cast including Robert Pattinson, Bill Skarsgård, Jason Clarke, Riley Keough, Sebastian Stan, and many more in a tale of faith, family, and revenge that completely immerses the viewer in its sharply-drawn world.
