Brian's arch nemesis throughout the movie is Tony Jaa's mercenary character, for they get two entertaining fisticuffs, firstly in Azerbaijan, and again in Los Angeles. While it's fair to see that Jaa wins the first one, Brian manages to get the better of him in the delirious second fight scene which sees Jaa surf Brian down a flight of stairs using a door (no joke), before Brian uses a cable drum to drag Jaa down an elevator shaft to his doom, throwing his "Too slow" insult back at him from earlier for extra humiliation. As kick-a** as Walker is in these movies, does anyone really believe he could ever beat one of the world's best martial artists in a fight? Still, the movie does about as good a job persuading audiences of that fact as they possibly could have.
