During Jessie and Sprog's escape from Toecutter's gang, Cundalini chases the car, wildly swinging a chain at the back of it and then seen falling to the floor as Jessie speeds away. After Jessie has escaped, picked up Max and headed to May's farm, she gets out of the car to see their dog hanging around the back of the vehicle. Jessie investigates only to find Cundalini's severed hand attached to the chain he swung at the car, leading to Toecutter later telling Jessie, "That there is Cundalini...and Cundalini wants his hand back!"
