As Jessie is fleeing from Toecutter's gang in the woods, she comes across a rather large, intimidating man who laughs at her, clearly causing her to assume that he's associated with Toecutter. In fact, this is Benno, May's mentally deficient farmhand who runs after Jessie like a dog chasing a car, providing a brief spurt of comic relief amid all the chaos. Trivia: the actor who played him, Max Fairchild, also appeared in the second movie as one of the captives strapped to the front of Lord Humungus' vehicle.
