After Toecutter ripped Max's life away from him, it's extremely satisfying to see the villain get his just desserts in supremely grisly fashion. As Max is chasing him down, Toecutter is forced to drive faster and faster, such that he doesn't see a semi truck coming in the opposite direction, which promptly smashes into him and crushes his body beneath its wheels. All that's left behind is a crumpled mess and the sure guarantee that the creepy murderer wasn't let off lightly.
