Master Blaster is the two-man unit who runs the Underworld methane plant below Bartertown, consisting of Blaster, a large, brutish man and Master, the dwarf who sits atop him and gives orders. Quite arguably the most imposing and memorable villain in the series to date, Master Blaster screams weird and at the same time is terrifically entertaining to behold. Plus, once Max fights Blaster in the Thunderdome, the twist is revealed, that Blaster is in fact a man with Down Syndrome, at which point Max refuses to kill him, much to Aunty's disappointment.
