21. Sylvester Stallone Wins His First Golden Globe
One of the night's best moments saw Sylvester Stallone win the Best Supporting Actor Globe for his work on Creed, resulting in a standing ovation from the adoring crowd. He took to the stage as the Rocky theme blared out and made one of the most memorable comments of the night, saying, "I am the sum total of everyone I've ever met". Stallone then thanked a fleet of friends, colleagues and family members, as well Rocky Balboa for "being the best friend ever had", but strangely didn't thank director Ryan Coogler or co-star Michael B. Jordan.
