I hate the fact that I know this but anybody who knows even a little bit about the Twilight series knows that Jacob gets pretty messed about in this series. He doesnt really get a look-in until the second film when hes just used as a stop-gap until Edward returns. Then he gets pretty attached and then Edward returns and Bella just goes right back to him, leaving Jacob. I dont really know much that happens beyond that because, frankly, I dont care. I just know that thats the jist of it and even that is pretty bad. This is effectively teaching girls that if two boys like you, dont outright reject one of them, just sort of keep them at arms length, just in case. I mean, anybody whos taking relationship advice from Twilight isnt really going to be finding themselves in that situation anytime soon but the principle remains!
