Usually, you'd say that pop stars should be forced to stay away from trying to make it as film stars, but Lady Gaga has all the right theatricality experience to suggest she just might have something.

Her debut comes as the lead in Bradley Cooper's A Star Is Born - the third remake of the 1937 original, which has 100% on RottenTomatoes, not that anyone seems to care. She's following in the footsteps of Judy Garland and Barbara Streisand, who replaced Janet Gaynor in their respective remakes.

It's an interesting film for a number of reason - including being Cooper's directorial debut - and it's going to make money no matter what thanks to Gaga's army of Little Monsters.
