5 Actors Who Need To Work With Wes Anderson

3. Steve Carell

While the films of Steve Carell haven€™t been too successful at showcasing his talent, it€™s okay, because he was the star of the greatest piece of entertainment ever. Well, that€™s completely subjective, but The Office is my favorite thing of all-time, and Carell€™s Michael Scott is brilliant in just about every way. The actor€™s best film at this point is probably Little Miss Sunshine, where he plays a depressed gay man, and it proved to the world that he had acting chops. That character was Wes Anderson-y in some ways, immediately reminding me of Luke Wilson€˜s Richie Tenenbaum. Of course, it doesn€™t really compare to something Wes would have cooked up, but it was a fine performance regardless. Wes Anderson knows a thing or two about getting amazing performances out of established comedy stars (Ben Stiller in The Royal Tenenbaums and Bill Murray in everything), so Maybe Steve could be next.
