5 Films You Didn’t Know Had Right Wing Values

It's tough these days to find the kind of patriotic, macho loving, gun toting movies that were famous in the 80s. It's even tougher to find films, or franchises for that matter, that have any sort of conservative or right wing values on top of all that. But, there are a handful of franchises, old and new, that have bucked the trends of politically correct and liberal Hollywood. They have presented stories that appeal to the everyman and patriot in all of us. They strike right to the heart of American conservatism in a way that celebrates capitalism, macho personalities and anti authority heroes protecting the world from the pure evil lurking around the corner. Most of us love these films no matter what our politics are. They have our favorite heroes that walk as dinosaurs among generations and populaces that don't understand them and usually stand in their way. But, fight on they do for themselves and the values many conservatives and right wingers, whether they be Libertarian or Republican, hold dear. Here's a look at five film franchises you didn't know had right wing values, some of which just won't let the torch of conservative leaning art burn out.
