Man from Nowhere elicited more fist pumps from me than any movie outside of maybe The Raid: Redemption. Cha Tae-sik, which I believe stands for I Kill Frequently, is a humble pawn shop owner who befriends an adorable little girl. The girl's mom is a druggie stripper whose immoral ways lead to the girl getting kidnapped. And, much like my boy Liam in Taken, Cha Tae-sik does not appreciate kidnappers. At the conclusion, we find Cha confronting a group of armed thugs and a master assassin. What makes this even more daunting is the assassin has a killer stache. Anyway, Cha is provoked emotionally (can't say how, spoiler) but suffice to say, it pisses Cha off something fierce. Bullets, bats, knives can't stop the raging ball of rage that Cha becomes. Wrists are slit, faces shot, dudes stabbed while Cha levels a platoon of baddies. It is said that an angel gets its wings each time a blow from Cha connects. I heard Amazing Grace emitting from speakers at the conclusion of this bad boy. Wow. I actually just watched the clip again because that's how awesome it is. You should check out this entire movie. One of my top 5s for sure.
