3. Raoul Silva - Skyfall

The villain: Raoul Silva (Javier Bardem)

What they did: Demolishes MI6 offices, killing many employees; kills one of his employed women; attempts to kill M (James Bond€™s boss) several times.

Why this is justifiable: What would you do if you were hired by someone only to watch them desert you when the going got tough? If you were put in a life threatening situation and your boss did nothing to save you? Simply turned their back on you and left you to die? This is the pain that Silva feels and motivates him to find and kill M, his former boss. Silva used to be an MI6 agent himself and during a mission, got captured, only to find M refusing to help him. On top of that, the cyanide pill they were trained to take in those types of situations didn€™t get the job done, permanently disfiguring his face.

So it€™s easy to see why Silva would be so angry and hell bent on revenge. His parental figure in life left him for dead and didn€™t seem to bat an eye about the situation. That€™s hard for anyone to handle, let alone a highly trained killing machine with a distorted sense of the world.
