Trekkies and Trekkers are salivating at the announcement that all five Star Trek captains will appear together at the Destination Star Trek London scheduled for October. While the Star Trek captains have appeared separately or a few times two or three at a time at other Star Trek conventions, the London event brings all five together on the same stage. Attendees will get to see William Shatner (Captain Kirk), Patrick Stewart (Captain Picard), Avery Brooks (Captain Sisko), Kate Mulgrew (Captain Janeway), and Scott Bakula (Captain Archer). Convention producers want to make this years event special since it is the first time in 10 years such a live Star Trek meeting has been held in the UK. Considering that Shatner is 81 and seems to have reduced his convention appearances, this may be the last chance to see the five actors together.
