5 Things That Need To Happen In Kong: Skull Island

5. Show New Creatures

The fun of Kong isn't just about connecting with a misunderstood ape, it's also about Kong punching monsters in the face. And since Kong is now in the same universe as Godzilla, that means any kind of monster could show up in the movie from a rich universe we've already seen hinted at. The filmmakers need to take advantage and bring in different kinds of monsters now that there aren't any restrictions.

Historically, Skull Island has been home mostly to dinosaurs, giant insects, and of course, giant apes - basically, big versions of things that have existed in our world at some time. Seeing dinosaurs is always amazing, but the movie doesn't need to solely rely on those: this franchise should also introduce some kind of new monster that before would only have been seen in a Godzilla movie.

To be clear, Kong shouldn't be fighting any of the traditional Godzilla monsters, just something large and ridiculous. Skull Island is supposed to be a place where both the characters and audiences should be in awe of and not know what's coming next.
