The problem with making a film about the Guardians of the Galaxy is that they dont have the name recognition of the Avengers or the Justice League. That first trailer is going to have to sell the movie. If you can make this film visually stunning in a three-minute trailer Im sold. Put the post credits scene from The Avengers into the trailer, to let people know that this movie is about a badass villain named Thanos. Im not going to pretend my ticket isnt sold already based solely on The Avengers, but if you want my money on opening weekend put out a trailer with some amazing action sequences, a couple of badass lines, and make the movie feel important to the Marvel Universe.
