Michael Mann's first film in 6 years follows American cop Nicholas Hathaway (Chris Hemsworth) as he teams with a Chinese agency to track down a cyber criminal. Though the mid-January release is definitely suspicious for a movie from a card-carrying auteur considering this is usually a dumping ground period for bad movies (and if the movie was really that great, it would have been moved forward for Oscar consideration), hopefully Mann will prove everyone wrong. The action still looks thrilling, and that's what the director does best. Release Date: January 16th
