A great scene, to me, is one that can both perfectly highlight itself as one of a film's great moments, and also has the ability to implement all movie-making skills. This includes the use of music, camera movements, acting, scripting, so on and so forth. I have tried to create a list that is varied, meaning there are scenes from old and new films, horrors and comedies, and also world cinema. This list will detail the reasons as to why these 50 scenes are the greatest in history. Each scene will have a clip attached to it, so if you haven't seen any you can. Please bear in mind that these scenes are all fairly personal to me and that they reflect my views on film. There may be some I have left out, but these are all my personal choices.
