Oscar buzz is already swirling wildly for Tom Holland, who will play PTSD-afflicted Army medic-turned-bank robber Nico Walker in this drama adapted from Walker's own novel.

Avengers filmmakers Joe and Anthony Russo are directing, with Joe Russo insisting that Holland's performance is "Oscar-worthy," which if true would certainly catapult Holland's career into the prestige stratosphere.

Moreover, it'll be interesting to see the Russos working on something more grounded after spending so long hunkered down deep in the digital-heavy dream factory of the MCU.
