10. Napoleon

Paramount

Ridley Scott truly is the man who never sleeps, and at 85 years of age is currently deep into post-production on his long-awaited Napoleon biopic, starring Joaquin Phoenix as the French leader.

Scott re-teaming with his Gladiator star Phoenix is enough to rouse considerable interest, and given Phoenix's typical commitment to most any role he plays, there's no reason to doubt him giving a performance for the ages here. Starring alongside him will be Vanessa Kirby as Napoleon's wife, Empress Joséphine.

Scott has reportedly shot six battle sequences for the movie, ensuring it'll hopefully be both a thoughtful and action-packed biopic of the iconic military commander.

9. Indiana Jones & The Dial Of Destiny

Disney

The fifth and allegedly final Indiana Jones film is the first not to be directed by Steven Spielberg, though with the reliable James Mangold (Logan) at the helm, it's easy to have faith regardless.

Harrison Ford returns to sunset his favourite character once and for all, with a story set against the Space Race of the 1960s, which is heavily rumoured to include time travel as a major function of its plot.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge will also star as Indy's goddaughter Helena, while Mads Mikkelsen plays the ex-Nazi villain, and the cast is rounded out by Antonio Banderas, Boyd Holbrook, Toby Jones, and a returning John Rhys Davies as Sallah.

Naturally many fans are pretty nervous after the backlash to the polarising fourth film, but in the very least this'll hopefully give Indy a fitting and concrete send-off.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny releases on June 30.
