4. An Unknown Location

There's every chance that the Soul Stone won't be seen until Avengers: Infinity War hits our screens in 2018.

Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, the writers of the movie, have said that Thanos will be a major player, rather than an undercooked plot point like so many other MCU villains, and it's likely that a good chunk of the movie will be dedicated to developing the Mad Titan. Seeing him gather the Infinity Stones seems a good way to do so.

While the idea of watching Thanos trash the Nova Corps headquarters and Odin's vault is exciting, there's a possibility that an entirely new location will be featured during his rampage.

It may seem counterproductive to introduce somewhere new in a film that should already have a running time of six hours, but if it is just a brief scene to demonstrate Thanos' power, it's entirely possible.
