Its official, Benedict Cumberbatch has been in Nepal and Doctor Strange has begun filming. This is not a drill, people. Ever since Marvels Sorcerer Supreme was name checked in Captain America: The Winter Soldier theres been a feverish anticipation around just what form a Doctor Strange movie could take in the MCU. Joaquin Phoenix apparently almost had Stranges cape fastened on at one point before getting cold feet over the commitment expected of a multi-picture Marvel deal. Luckily, Benedict Cumberbatch is never one to shy away from a busy schedule, quickly stepping in to keep production on track. Theres still an awful lot we dont know about Doctor Strange as things stand, such as just who Mads Mikkleson will be playing and what Stranges costume will be like.
