7 Actors to Zap Electro to Life in The Amazing Spider-Man 2

By Cameron Carpenter /

4. Ty Burrell

He's an older choice, but I think he's fairly easy to see in the costume. From Modern Family fame, Burrell has mastered the delivery of comedy in a new and refreshing way, and it'd be sensational to see what he does with the role of Max Dillon. I can easily picture him as a crazed man seeking lawsuit for wrongful termination and then finding solace in electrocuting those who have wronged him. He's another Emmy winner who may find trouble with filming because of his contract (recently renewed and hotly debated) with Modern Family, but he'd be a welcome addition to the Spider-Man cast and would surely not only launch himself into even more stardom, but could provide one of the most interesting and entertaining villains we've yet to see on screen.
